True Maple Leaf ("we", "us", "our") is a Canadian trivia website operated as a personal project. We are based in Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy applies to the website at truemapleleaf.com and any related services.

Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud database service with servers located in Canada or the United States. Supabase implements industry-standard security including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL).

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for more than 24 months, we may delete it. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We share limited data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the website:

All service providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable law. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies beyond what is described in Section 9.

We may disclose your information if required by Canadian law or a valid court order.

6. Children and minors

True Maple Leaf is intended for users aged 14 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at truemapleleaf.can@gmail.com and we will delete the account promptly.

Users aged 14–17 are welcome. We do not display advertising to any user, we do not sell any user data, and we do not profile users for commercial purposes. Usernames are displayed using only the chosen handle — no real names are ever shown publicly.
